Sport

There are five stadiums, three sports compounds, 12 shooting galleries and 22 sports gyms (19 in schools and three – in companies) in the region.

Especially popular are football, table tennis, draughts, chess, arm-wrestling, volleyball, calisthenics, gorodki.

There are 30 sports instructors in companies and establishments of the region.

There is a children’s sports club and sports school in the region with about 750 students.
